4181 A perm/peel adhesive system, ideal for a variety of applications including core-splicing, protection pads and poster mounting. Also used on business forms as a bobbin wound product. NB: The permanent and peelable side are interchangeable.

APPLICATIONS The special perm/peel feature of this tape makes 4181 ideal for protection/scratch pads, poster mounting or core splicing. The polyester carrier offers both dimensional stability and good die-cutting characteristics, ideal for foam/rubber gaskets.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION An economy version permanent/peelable two side tape with a polyester carrier. The open side has a synthetic rubber adhesive, and the closed side a peelable acrylic adhesive. The liner is a two side release system. The closed side is resistant to UV light, plasticisers and temperature variation, however some care should be exercised with the open side due to the nature of the adhesive. 4081 A Perm/Peel system with acrylic adhesive both sides. Used in same applications as 4181, but where improved ageing/temperature resistance is needed.
